Grease Operator

• Hands-on field operations in the Grease Manufacturing Plant (GMP) and Utilities including associated plant Utilities and perform PCS Panel Operations
• Responsible to make sure production support performing raw material handling, batch processing and filling of greases in a safe, compliant and productive manner, meeting all HSSE and product quality requirements.
• Supporting Grease Supervisor and Senior Grease Operator for intervention / corrective actions required during abnormal operating conditions
• Lead and guide production support in grease manufacturing and Utilities activities, ensuring full compliance to latest GQS, Work Instructions, HSSE procedures and other specific requirements.
• Operate PCS and other equipment from respective area and CCR (if required) to ensure correct and timely response to prompts that need to executed.
• Ensure correct weighing of raw material and additive before introduced to production train
• Execute production according to plan to meet Production Schedule Adherence targets with minimal disruptions and downtime.
• Ensure compliance to grease Method of Manufacture and accurate recording of Batch Process Data
• Perform representative sampling for batch QC and other quality inspections.
• Perform Penetration and Grease Worker Test for each batch sampling to determine whether process adjustment are required.
• Ensure documented shift handover between incoming and outgoing shifts.
• Operate the GMP Utilities (Hot Oil, Hot Water, Cooling Water System, etc).
• Monitor availability of consumables Coordinate / initiate replenishment as required.
• Monitor level in additive Mini-Bulk Tanks and top up as required.
• Support Minibulk service change and line draining on ad-hoc basis.
• Unloading of bulk raw material (Base Oil and Additive) Isotanks.
• Perform Filling Activity to Drum, Pail or Fluid Bag Packaging.
• Ensure accurate usage and accounting for raw materials and packaging materials.
• Perform stock counting for raw materials and packaging.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the production area.
• Coordinate with Maintenance team for servicing of GMP equipment with minimum downtime affecting production schedule.
• Participate Structured Safety Walks, Site ERP drills and other activities in HSSE Functional Plan
• Supporting Supervisor and Senior Grease Operator to develop and write Work Instructions and SOPs.
• Train and coach production support to perform tasks according to requirement.
• Liase with Laboratory on matters pertaining to QC and sampling.
• Report PI/NM and incidents in Sphera.
• Participate in RCA for Quality Incidents.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by LGT and GMP Day Supervisor.
